[Winona Online Democracy]
Well, since we're talking about grassroots arts, this seems like an
opportunity to invite people to an event on Saturday at the Winona Art
Center (a grassroots arts org if ever there was) in which I am involved:
Open Stage: 4 poets/storytellers, 4 musicians
Saturday May 19 at 7:30 PM
$5 at the door, $2 students
Sort of an aural potluck--I'm looking forward to it. Call Mary Coughlin at
the WAC for further info, 453-9959.
Good press on the get-together at the Acoustic, by the way. Sorry I
couldn't be there. I hope the opportunity arises again, maybe later in the
summer?
