[Winona Online Democracy]
Greetings all, I agree with Clay Templeton and Will Kitchen. I too feel that online democracy is working, and I look forward to a day in the not-too-distant future when we have an even wider demographic/psychographic participating in the discussions. Piggybacking on Clay Templeton's remarks regarding the DM&E issue, I need some education from some of you who are more 'in the know' on this issue. What are the "pros" for having the additional rail traffic run through the center of town? >From my *very* limited knowledge on the subject, and having a natural tendency towards being environmentally-oriented and "Norman Rockwell" community-oriented I can't find a "pro." I would like to have the whole story before forming my opinion. I addressed this in a public forum as I guessed that others might also need some help on this subject. Thanks in advance for your time.
