[Winona Online Democracy]

Not to pull anyone away from listening to local radio, but I've been told
that today's All Things Considered will have a local focus. They're doing a
story on the United Way's recent "compromise" with the Boy Scouts. I
understand some of our own e-democracy contributers were interviewed. I
think the story will air between 4:50-6:00pm.

**I put compromise in quotes because it was never clear to me exactly what
kind of agreement the Boy Scouts and United Way decided on. Why the Bishop
was involved was a mystery as well.
