4 months plus Washington DC Red Cross Rate: ALAP This is an opportunity for a consultant to be converted as a permanent employee in 3 to 4 months. Biomedical Information Technology Software Engineering is seeking Senior Systems Engineer to provide functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, integration and implementation of software applications for the company's products, including, but not limited to, utility software, development software, and diagnostic software. The System Engineer would be an active participant in the development of test strategies, devices and systems. Analyze, design, develop, modify, install, test and maintain systems in a regulated environment. Design system functionality to meet user needs with a combination or COTS and internally developed software. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) preferred. Expertise in Visual Basic script development in a Microsoft Windows environment. Substantive experience required in a formal or structured systems engineering environment - preferably regulated. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Has extensive documentation experience. Good understanding of system requirements, design and development, user interfaces and configuration tools.
