*Note: Please send perfect matching profiles only * * * *Senior SAS Analyst.* Location: Toronto, Ontario,Canada Duration: 12 Months *POSITION SUMMARY: * Deposit and Services contributes to revenue growth and business reporting for International Deposits, by providing analytic support, including product analysis, tracking and commenting on product trends in interest margins as well as non-interest revenues. You will undertake simple, and/or complex and detailed analysis to assess how the business is performing site by site, segment by segment, product by product, and where greater focus is required to ensure optimal revenue growth is achieved. You will be responsible for building a network of contacts in Toronto, with Finance, Treasury, IBSS and BIS, as well as with the individual countries. Output from analysis and reporting will be used by department management for strategic and tactical product decisions. Key accountabilities for this role : You will be accountable for: *Revenue optimization * · Participate in pricing projects to improve interest revenues in select sites · Participate in the fees review project · Work with the heads of Retail and Small Business/ Commercial Deposits in product redesign and optimization to ensure that products enhance customer and bank profitability *Build and own the department pricing model * · Understand model objectives · Determine data requirements · Provide data requirements · Obtain input from internal users · Validate the approach with external experts · Test the model to ensure accuracy and validity · Support regular department product/ revenue reporting - monthly/ quarterly · Monthly revenue reports and commentary · Regular business reports and senior management presentations on revenue *Contribute to the development and implementation of new analytic processes and models to analyze revenues: interest margins, non-interest revenues* · Gain a thorough knowledge of bank/ industry practices · Keep up-to-date with best practices · Identify and initiate refinements to procedures · Research, document and present recommendations · Work with the Pricing Unit within International Banking to ensure appropriate pricing data is collected and stored · Ensure pricing decisions are implemented correctly in each site · Evaluate and recommend pricing opportunities *Complex and detailed analysis * products* · Determine data sources · Leveraging any analysis and databases to provide business reporting · Determine what data is available, how it can be accessed, and how to combine data to produce the Information required · Mining, extracting, cleansing, interpreting and analyzing bank and industry data · Prepare recommendations for department management · Analyze results to identify issues/ trends · Identify profitable business development opportunities *QUALIFICATIONS: * Ø Minimum Bachelor's degree Ø Minimum 3 years of SAS programming experience Ø Excellent, in-depth understanding of: personal and business segments, day-to- day, saving and term deposit products Ø Knowledge of Financial measurement and product profitability Ø High end knowledge of PC and other software, particularly MS Excel Ø Knowledge of Databases, query structure, data structure Ø Experience in building pricing databases/ tools as required to assess opportunities -- Regards, Venkat Technical Recruiter 609 945 1186 [email protected] Ezen Computer Services Inc. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "only.SAP" group.
