Title: Senior Ab Initio Developer Location: Herndon, VA Length: 6+ Months Industry: Financial / Mortgage Candidate must have high level of HANDS-ON experience with Ab Initio. SENIOR AB INITIO DEVELOPER Senior/Lead developer needed for changes to WLCBS application. Senior/Lead Developer performs impact analysis, designs, develops, and unit tests software applications from user requirements. The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles. Excellent knowledge and experience with Ab Initio, Oracle, PL/SQL, and Crystal Reports. The candidate will: -Participate in requirements analysis and definition. -Design, code, unit test, and performance tune Ab Initio applications. -Design, code, unit test, and performance tune SQL queries and PL/SQL packages. -Design, code, and unit test Crystal reports. -Prepare code documentation in support of application development, including high level and detailed design documents, unit test specifications, interface specifications, etc. -Follow established software development guidelines and procedures. -Oversee code builds and deployments adhering to change management standards. -Support QA and UAT by preparing the environments, providing execution instructions, troubleshooting issues, and resolving defects. -Conduct peer code reviews. Requirements -Must have senior level experience in Ab Initio (2.14 or higher). Must have hands-on knowledge on how to extract from and load data to Oracle databases using Ab Initio. -Must have senior level experience in PL/SQL. -Must have senior level experience in Autosys. -Crystal Reports experience desired. -Excellent communication skills. -Self starter. Proven ability to get up to speed on applications and become productive with minimal supervision. -Prior Fannie Mae experience desired.
