This position's critical functions are to create quality business requirements by drawing information from appropriate players and stakeholders, defining solutions to business problems, creating business process maps of business functions, writing detailed requirements and defining business procedures. This position acts as a bridge between business and technology and participates in the software development lifecycle by participating in the project from concept to deployment. Skills and Requirements: Excellent analytical and business requirements writing skills, the ability to understand and analyze complex issues. Must have the ability to work independently on tasks under aggressive deadlines. Be able to execute on multiple assignments and/or projects of high complexity. *Excellent leadership and influencing skills to facilitate cross-functional teamwork in a fluid environment.* *Broad knowledge of mortgage industry. Knowledge of the secondary mortgage market. ** *Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and demonstrated presentation skills. *Experience with Requirements Management Tools such as DOORs and Visio.* Proficiency using Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project) is required. Strong working knowledge of web applications desirable. Commitment to operational discipline and continuous improvement.
