*Datawarehouse Analyst*
Location: McLean VA
Duration:5 months
Data Warehouse Analyst will work on Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW) projects
in support of FAS140/FIN46 initiative. The FAS140 / FIN46 (R) project will
provide the ability to maintain GAAP compliance under the amended accounting
policies.
Analyze business needs and requirements for FAS140/FIN46
projects in the Corporate Data Warehouse.
Lead conflict resolution and facilitate decision-making.
Develop and enhance systems by bringing specific business
knowledge to the technical design process.
Interview business users to determine their needs. Research
processes and compose/write business requirements.
Based on project methodologies, lead and deliver functional
requirements for ETL development and Technical Data Quality reporting.
Prepare unit test cases; execute and document test results.
Perform all levels of data analysis, leveraging current data
sources, data and process models, business requirements and other artifacts.
As determined by the Project Manager, provide project
leadership and general guidance.
Other applicable tasks as deemed applicable and necessary by
the Project Manager.
Communicate with and coordinate efforts among various team
members including testing team, developers, data analysts and business.
Serve as a liaison between the business user and members of the technical
support team.
Support Pre and Post Production Deployment activities.

Working knowledge with Sybase, DB2, UDB, Oracle databases.
