We have the following SAP requirement for a *very strong* SAP PM consultant
for the *Oil and Gas* industry. Please send only qualified candidates.
*Job Title:* *SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) Business Analyst.*
*Start :* ASAP.
*Duration:* One year.
*Location:* Baytown, TX
*Activities:*
- Part of a global team.
- Handles problems and service requests reported by Plant Maintenance
users in several client's SAP systems.
- Uses the SAP Marketplace as a source of correction for reported
problems.
- Responsible for learning and maintaining those SAP configuration
settings which are the basis for the PM implementations in client's
Refining, Upstream and Chemical plants.
- Responsible for learning and maintaining R3 customizations which form
part of the PM designs.
- Develops business process understanding to expedite understanding of
requirements and ability to develop meaningful test cases.
- Responsible for learning and maintaining interfaces between R3 and
external tools/systems used by Plant Maintenance for work order scheduling,
equipment design specifications and equipment reliability analysis.
- Provides consultation regarding the technical feasibility of proposed
enhancements to the PM designs and their impact on current processes.
- Develops functional specifications for proposed enhancements.
- Provides consultation to program developers regarding program
corrections and enhancements to the PM SAP implementations.
- Performs initial testing of problem corrections and enhancements.
- Develops user and support documentation for enhancements made to the PM
design.
- Maintains batch job variants used in the PM implementations.
- Develops and conducts training in PM processes* *
*Required Knowledge:*
- Mandatory previous experience in *Oil and Gas* industry
- University degree.
- Experience with multiple SAP releases including 4.0B, 4.6C and ECC 6.0
is desired.
- Knowledge of SAP PM module functionality including:
- PM - Plant Maintenance (notifications, work order processing, work
selection, planning and scheduling, preventative maintenance calls,
inspections, equipment characteristics and classification, timesheets and
work confirmation)
- QM - Quality Management
- RLM - Remote Logistics Module
- IM - Investment Management
- MM - Purchasing Functions for Materials and Services and use of BOMs
in Plant Maintenance
- CATS - Cross Application Timesheets
- Course work and/or experience with basic accounting principles.
- Speak, read and write English fluently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to work remotely from other team members, internal service
providers and customers.
- Ability to work with less experienced analysts in order to develop SAP
problem solving, support and technical skills.
- Strong technical aptitude in order to comprehend and support complex
processes based on standard SAP configuration as well as customizations
utilizing work flow, release strategies, and CATS.
- Ability to learn and apply client's control standards to these
processes..
