Contract length – 12 months

Location – North Carolina

Experience Required:

A minimum of 4 years of in-depth Business Systems Analyst experience with
Oracle/PeopleSoft HRMS or HCM (including all of the following modules: North
American Payroll, Time and Labor, and HR), with at least

2 years of experience in version 8.9 or greater at Educational or Government
institutions. Functional business analysis experience with PeopleSoft NA
Payroll and Time and Labor and PeopleSoft HRMS or HCM version 8.9 or 9.0 is
required. Higher Education experience with the PeopleSoft NA Payroll module
is preferable. Knowledge of the Kronos Time Keeping System is a plus. Expert
knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS data structures, configuration and setup, and
business processes within the application is required.

Scope of work:

1. Assist with functional production support the client’s North American
Payroll, Time/Labor and HR processes.

2. Gathering requirements, developing functional specifications, and fit/gap
analysis for large-scale enhancement projects that have been requested by
the administrative offices.

3. Performing lightweight project management for projects with smaller
scope, including organizing project schedules, coordinating resources, and
monitoring task progress.

4. Provide general production support for Oracle/Peoplesoft HRMS, using
knowledge of configuration and data structures related to North American
Payroll, Position Management and Time & Labor modules. Provide functional
guidance to developers when a technical solution is required.

5. Assist the Payroll users with all year-end activities including but not
limited to troubleshooting issues, documenting process flows and validating
data required for government reporting.

6. Perform analysis and testing of Tax Updates as supplied by
Oracle/PeopleSoft.

7. All work will be performed on at the client site.

8. The contractor is expected to work a 40 hour week Monday through Friday
(8 Hours per day) or Monday through Thursday (10 hours per day) if
traveling.

Candidates shall demonstrate experience in the following:

1. Working with business offices to gather requirements and map them to
application designs and functional specifications 2. Conducting fit-gap
analysis between requirements and delivered functionality to determine
customization needs.

3. Working directly with developers to ensure that development meets
business requirements and performing quality assurance testing.

4. Troubleshooting complex production problems and providing developers with
direction for resolution.

5. NA Payroll and Time and Labor Implementation and Upgrade experience.

Familiarity with Oracle/PeopleSoft development technologies (PeopleCode,
Application Designer, Component Interface, and Application Engine) is
desired. Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written
communications skills are required, as well as the ability to quickly
understand the dynamics and working processes of the Human Resources and
Payroll organizations of the client.
