*Job Summary:*
The Senior UNIX Administrator provides high-level hands-on Sun Solaris
support primarily Sun Sparc Midrange platforms. The position requires
contractor to engage with the highest attention to due diligence and
professionalism in planning and executing skill sets enumerated but not
necessarily limited to those detailed below.
Senior UNIX administrator with 10+ years experience within a large, complex
IT infrastructure and exposure to not only production environments, but also
rapid deployment development and QA environments. Ideal candidate is a
highly motivated self-starter and committed team player with strong verbal
and written communication and analytical skills.
*Skills Inventory:*
· Requires Senior UNIX Administrator with 10+ years experience within
a large, complex IT infrastructure
· Requires expert experience in Solaris 10; Solaris 9: and Red Hat
Linux
· Requires expert experience in Veritas Cluster Server & Solaris 10
Virtualization Zones
· Requires expert experience in Sun Jumpstart/JET and Apache Server 2
Management
· Requires expert experience in Veritas Volume Manager/Veritas Storage
Foundation
· Requires expert experience in LOM (ILOM, ALOM, and RSC) Remote
Management
· Requires expert experience in Solaris Volume Manager/Disksuite
· Requires expert experience in Host Based Fiber Channel HB and
Configuration
· Requires expert experience in Hands on Physical Hardware Sun Sparc
· Intermediate experience in deploying and troubleshooting Weblogic
and Apache
· Experience with SMF and Sun Resource Mgmt Intermediate desirable
