*Position Description:*
UAT Manager with Investment Banking experience working on cross functional
(e.g. not IT only) directly with Front Office, Operations, Finance, Risk,
and Technology within Equities.
He/she should have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication,
and work constructively with people across various functional departments
and geographies to resolve technical and non technical issues.
Highly organized and motivated, has demonstrated UAT success in capital
markets. This person will work in a fast paced environment and
create/enforce testing standards. The core role functions include test
preparation, execution, maintaining a testing calendar, daily coordination
across multiple stakeholder groups. This includes building testing cases,
coordinating static data books, documenting test playbooks, interfacing with
environment managers, resolving defects, and escalating issues
appropriately.
*Skills:*
Strong analytical, decision making, quick learner, and problem solving
skills; Self-motivated and prepared to work independently; Detail oriented,
and able work under pressure in a fast paced environment; Personal computer
aptitude, including proficiency in MS Office, Strong interpersonal,
leadership, conflict management and negotiation skills.
*Activities to Support:*
- Develop and Manage UAT Test Plans
- Coordinate with IT, Equities, Operations, Finance to scope cross border
solutions
- Actualize Communication Forums
- Administer Defect and Issue Tracking (Work with users on Prioritization
and Classification)
- Manages Script Creation and Static Data Books
- Manages Test Execution
- Compile Status Reporting
- Manages Testing Calendars
- Work with project managers to synthesize escalation issues
- Arbitrate competing business stakeholder requests
- Interface with Environment Manager
