*Position: WebLogic Engineer*
*Location: Marlborough, MA*
*Duration: 6 months*
*Face to face interview after telephonic interview. *
*The key words are: Infrastructure Design, Engineering and Delivery*
Strong system analysis, architecture, design and research skills -
The position breaks down as follows: 60% hands-on system engineering, 25%
infrastructure research, design and architecture practices, 15% leadership:
working with support engineers and developers across teams.
Very close to the technology - research, design, prototype and configure
middleware products/solutions
· *Core Java and JEE. *
· Oracle products: *WebLogic, Universal Content Management (UCM) and
OES. *
· Other Technology: *Tomcat, Spring framework, SOA and Portals.*
· Messaging: *WebSphere MQ, Active MQ and JMS* (must have knowledge
but does not need to be an expert).
· Database: *Oracle 11g*.
· Good knowledge of ITIL practices - Configuration, Change and
Release Management.
· Strong Infrastructure Management background - capacity planning,
performance management and security.
Job Qualifications:
· Strong systems analysis and engineering skills.
· Strong understanding of *middleware technologies and
infrastructure management.*
· 5+ years in middleware technologies including *WebLogic (MUST),
Tomcat (MUST), Spring framework (MUST), WebSphere MQ, Oracle UCM (they are
moving to this in 2010), SOA and Portal.*
· *3+ years in Java/JEE development Java is the key. *
· *UNIX scripting is a strong plus - Shell, Perl, Python, Jython and
WLST. *
· Project management skills is a plus.
· Vendor relationship management and troubleshooting skills are
required
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced,
team-oriented environment
