*Title: Production Support/ build Engineer * * * *Location: NYC* * * *Duration: 12 Months+* * * *Production Support/ Build Engineer for Middle Office systems, which works closely with the Technology Infrastructure organization to ensure that the best use is made of hardware and database resources and maintains a high-throughput, distributed, scalable architecture capable of handling many millions of transactions per day. The team is global in nature, with a tightly integrated structure across teams in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangalore, London and New York. Developers and staff in different offices frequently collaborate closely on projects or day-to-day issues. RESPONSIBILIITES • Actively participate in deployments of software to the UAT and/or production environments. • Monitor jobs, alerts, scheduling of jobs. • Coordinate on hardware/software migrations and environment upgrades. • Provide quality support and ensure availability of systems, monitoring processes and maintenance of • systems. • Planning & management of Production environment, ensuring swift resolution to production issues. • Fix basic issues with tools used in the QA space, and participate in enhancements of the same, as and • when needed. • Execution and debugging of automated test cases and presentation of results. • Collaborate effectively with Middle Office Technology and infrastructure teams to get the job done. SKILL / EXPERIENCE As part of this dynamic team, we are looking for candidates with the following profile: General • 2 - 4 years' experience in the IT industry in a similar role preferably in the financial industry. • Proficiency in English, communication & ability to operate in a global team. • Strong teamwork in addition to being a proactive self-starter • Equities product knowledge preferred.
