Telecom Engineer Location: Livingston, NJ Length: 6+mths Responsibilities include design of the AIGT domestic voice infrastructure for AIGT Clients and AIGT Data Centers. Projects include design, installation, circuit ordering, coordination of network bandwidth/QoS for all voice infrastructure components and solutions. Solutions include VOIP Hosts and remote gateway systems, i.e. AVAYA, dialing plan designs, call center, voice mapplication and mobility featrues. Other projects include coordinating large telephone moves and major restack projects; Host/gateway remote/shelf expansions and station programming request. Other responsibilities include 3rd level operations support, analysis and troubleshooting of voice, circuit and network components. - Voice Network Implementation - adding cards, upgrades to PBX, VOIP testing. Proactive maintanance, backups, vendor escalation, - Post Site Install Data Documentation - Documenting of all pertinent info as it relates to new installs, PBX expansions & upgrades, circuits, equipment, Inventory Management, CMDB documentation etc. - Video Conference Set-up.
