The person needs to have CRM experience.* * * *Location: Secaucus , NJ* *Duration: 5 months* *Rate: $55/hr* * * *Position Summary * * * *The Database Developer is responsible f or the planning, development, implementation and general application supp or t of a series of MSSQL 2008 relational databases affiliated with the customer data warehouse project. The Database Developer is defined as being the primary interface and escalation point f or communication of customer data warehouse design, ETL procedures, implementation requirements and supp or t as they relate to applications f or the project. * * * *Primary Responsibilities* *· Configuration of SSIS data collection processes to imp or t data into a database from at least seven distinct sources, each with their own f or mat and distinct connectivity parameters* *· Provide input in the implementation of a staging database table infrastructure capable of receiving inf or mation collected from the above sources. Design must be easily extensible* *· Provide input in the implementation of a customer data warehouse design (e.g., star schema based) table infrastructure capable of consolidating the inf or mation collected from the above sources. Design must be easily extensible* *· Design and implementation of data archiving strategy and scripts, both logical and file based* *· Design and implementation of data cleansing strategy, including associated scripts and processes. Process must be designed to w or k with third party data cleaning companies, and integrate their results* *· Implementation of MS Rep or ting Services integration with customer data warehouse infrastructure including implementation of SSAS* *· Test data collection, cleaning and processing, including st or ed procedures, c or rect err or s and make necessary modifications* *· W or k with database administrat or s and analysts to make changes as necessary* *· Review project requests describing end user needs to estimate time required to accomplish the project* *· W or k as part of a project team to co or dinate database development to guide project scope* *· Develop methods f or integrating different products so they w or k properly together, such as automatically generating inf or mation summaries to assist in rep or ting* *· Identify and evaluate industry trends in customer data warehouse development to serve as a source of inf or mation and advice f or project teams* *· Auth or technical specifications* *· Execute systematic unit testing on any coding, including fixes* * * *Required Skills/Knowledge* *· Extensive Customer Data Warehouse development and implementation experience* *· RDBMS technologies, primarily Microsoft SQL Server. SQL Server 2008 required, 2008 R2 desirable* *· St or ed procedure and trigger design and implementation and experience in optimizing queries* *· SSIS, SSAS experience critical. SSRS experience required* *· Previous ETL expertise in a customer data warehouse environment* *· MS Scheduler, MS environment scripting. WSH, WMI, and SQL DMO/?SMO is a plus* *· Familiarity with Windows 2008 Enterprise operating system* *· Must be comf or table w or king with thousands of individual data files and consolidating the associated data* *· Good communication skills, both verbal and written, in technical and non-technical topics* *· Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of responsibility and auth or ity* * * *Experience Needed* * * *This position requires a detailed understanding of customer data warehouse design and implementation, particularly within a MS Relational Database technology environment. The candidate must be an expert with data flow (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), the associated ETL and st or ed procedure development and deployment. The candidate must also be familiar with Windows platf or ms and comf or table scripting with basic operating system navigation.
