Skills:
Experience with 3 or more full life cycle data warehouse implementations of
custom Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) solutions
Expert knowledge in dimensional modeling, design and architecture principles
and techniques Strong technical and functional knowledge of data warehouse
and OBIEE Hands-on experience with OBIEE metadata development, dashboards
development and implementation.
Experience with OBIEE on Linux platform
Technical experience with Oracle databases, SQL, PL/SQL Working knowledge of
HR concepts, and Oracle HRMS or other Oracle applications Experience in
database and OBIEE performance tuning with the ability to analyze complex
SQL queries Expertise in requirement gathering, understanding business users
requirement and convert them in functional/technical specifications
Exceptional communication skills with technical as well as functional
business personnel Good writing skills and ability to document outputs and
results.
Role:
An expert-level contract (Oracle).
OBIEE Technical Expert to act as a data warehouse and metadata
architect/developer in the deployment of the company's HR Analytics solution
(OBIEE) to a non-US region with enhanced functionality for OBIEE language
and currency translation.
Responsibilities include:
Design of data model for data warehouse (STAR Schema) to support OBIEE
application functionality Creation of functional/technical design documents
for OBIEE metadata components of the HR Analytics solution Develop the OBIEE
metadata layer and assist with OBIEE report and dashboard development.
Enhance design of existing OBIEE application with currency and language
OBIEE performance tuning. Mentor other resources on the project in this
development effort.
