Please go through the requirement and let me know your interest. • It is to be noted that the web engineering teams do not develop applications but support the application development teams. • The team will be working mostly with the application development teams and supporting development, QA, staging and Pre-production/Load testing environments. • In about 20% of the applications, the team will also be deploying applications on the production server (in case of COTS applications). • Rest of the 80% applications is deployed by the Production Support teams. • In such cases, the Web Engineering team will provide documentation • The Web Engineering team handles escalations from the Production support and Operations teams. • They do not provide L1/L2 support but act as escalation points for the Production Support and Operation teams due to their deployment environment and troubleshooting expertise. The following positions are required Web and Middleware Architect/Engineer (J2EE) *Must Have:* • MUST have worked on deploying and managing/administering Weblogic (8.x/ 9.x/ 10.x) based applications or Apache or Tomcat or JBOSS • MUST have experience engineering and supporting large scale shared application server farms • MUST have strong UNIX/ Perl scripting skills and MUST have automated deployment tasks in Sun Solaris 9,10, and Linux • Should have worked with LDAP, SSO, CSS/GSS Load Balancing • MUST ensure the configuration is setup correctly for Identity and Access Management applications to work correctly on the application servers. It must be noted that the Web Engineering team is not directly responsible for managing I&AM infrastructure. • MUST have the ability to troubleshoot application performance and other deployment related issues in the deployed environment • MUST have good SQL tuning capabilities • Should have worked with J2EE with Servlets, EJB, Struts, Hibernate, XML, Web Services long enough to be able to effectively communicate with the development team and be effective in understanding any technical issues escalated by the development team Â. Should be skilled and experienced enough to research and learn on own initiative Â.
