Position: *Build Release / **Deployment Specialist* Long term duration Location: Madison, WI Need In-person after telephonic. Provide application build coordination to development teams while working closely with the Release Coordinator and Development Lead; Work closely with both the development teams and the Release Coordinator to define build and deployment requirements and to execute builds and deploys in a highly-automated Software Configuration Management environment in coordination with the Release Coordinator’s release schedule and the Development Lead’s development schedule. Answers basic check-in/check-out and deploy questions for the development teams, while serving as the conduit between the development teams and the SCM team for tool related questions and process improvement opportunities. Experience using Harvest and OPENMAKE/Meister tools is strongly desired. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential to being successful in this role. Similar experience with other SCM (Harvest, Clearcase, etc), Build (Openmake, ANT scripts, etc) and CI (Meister, Hudson, etc) tools will be considered, depending on candidate pool. Required Skills 1.
