This individual will provide the leadership, vision, management and oversight of all global networks, infrastructures, data centers, telecommunications, and support services. This individual will also be a key contributor to developing and executing infrastructure and global *LAN/WAN* strategic ideas, future technology trends and aligning to overall corporate direction, and long-term planning. The *IT Director* will have a large global team of well over 50 direct and indirect staff including a small team of direct report managers. The corporation is a large global manufacturer that is a strategic partner to its customers and is playing a key role in the research, development, and manufacturing of leading edge trends in its specific industry. Our client is known for their *IT manager’s* ability to "get things done." Specific skills that are minimally required include: · 12 years (more preferred) of Information Technology experience with approximately *5 years of management success overseeing large, complex global networks and infrastructures. *** · Expert level skills managing complex global IT networks and related technologies while minimizing corporate risk and protecting data and related corporate assets. · *3+ years of network / infrastructure management experience* in a global, enterprise manufacturing environment or similar. · Can demonstrate clear understanding and expertise of the latest trends related to large enterprise networks, *infrastructure, LAN/WAN, and desktop management and support*. · *Must have success working with and managing diverse enterprise network environments made up of a wide range of hardware and software from different manufactures*. Diversity will include legacy technologies that are close to end of life thru latest technology trends in areas such as archiving. · Proven success performing vendor management, contract negotiations, SLA development and related for multiple, global external partners. · Exceptional Program and Project Management expertise with the ability to lead a large group in executing numerous complex projects simultaneously. · Exceptional verbal and written communicator that has ability to work diplomatically both inside and outside their own team.
