Candidate should have overall 9-10 years of I.T. experience
MUST HAVE 2+ yrs of Mobile development experience and it must be current.
We need a person skills in C#, C++, and SQL scripting (among other skills
required) to assist us in updating the existing application to connect to
and work with Sybase SQL Anywhere. Specifically the person will create
design documents, work under the direction of a technical lead, and submit
coding to QA and resolve issues identified in QA.
Background: (Description of role, responsibilities, and type of deliverables
within the project or group)
Primary Responsibilities:
Work with project teams in the design, development and deployment of
solutions using domain technologies. Guidance includes, but is not limited
to:
Partnering with project managers, solution architects and development
resources to assist with design decisions and estimates for project tasks
related to domain technologies.
Creation of deliverables and documentation per project delivery methodology
Make application coding modifications to support the change in technology
Unit test changes
Correct defects as needed
Required Skills / Experience:
5 plus years of experience developing multi tier desktop applications using
C# and/or C++
Strong business and technical acumen
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, manage tasks to timely completion and
appropriately escalate issues as required.
Exposure to mobile development environments and data synchronization
methods/technologies
Exposure to project management methodologies and deliverables, preferably
ADM.
Desired Skills / Technologies:
Experience in writing Ant scripts
Experience with SQL Anywhere and Sybase Mobilink desired
Experience in mobile technologies preferred
Experience in C#.net, VB6, UML, XML, T-SQL and SQL Server
Experience working with ITIL, ADM methodology, or UC4 scheduler a plus
Experience with Windows 20002005 Servers
Experience with Nokia Intellisync mobile suite a plus
