Full SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) involvement from analysis and planning to development and deployment. . Working and developing applications on the Java EE 5/6 application development platform for enterprise class projects. . Excellent technical problem solving skills and programming ability in JAVA . Coding languages and environments including but not limited to Java, J2EE, Java EE 5/6, EJB (Enterprise Java Beans), JSP, JSF/, Adobe Flex, XML, Spring, Hibernate and Oracle . Development experience with implementing applications involving WebSphere Portal Server, WAS, JSP (Java Servlets), LDAP, Java Portlets, EJB, JDBC, SQL, and JNDI. . Strong understanding and knowledge of the WebSphere/Java EE architecture, EJB, UML Patterns/Frameworks, JDBC/ODBC, UML modeling & OOD skills, and JAVA EE 5/6 integration points with external or third party products. . Strong understanding of the MVC pattern or the STRUTS and JSF frameworks. . Experience with WebSphere, RAD (Rational Application Development suite), and Oracle.. . Object modeling and design experience is essential. . Knowledge of best practices in the areas of application design, performance, scalability and maintainability is also required. . Web Services development experience (e.g. XML, SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), WSDL (Web Services Description Language), and UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration).
