The candidate must be available to work hours outside of normal business hours on occasion. Primary task will be protocol verification between Mobile and Wireless Network. Previous mobile phone protocol testing desired. § Must have a thorough understanding of Mobile phone applications – would prefer prior experience on GSM/UMTS mobile phone application testing. § Application testing areas may include: MMS, SMS, Streaming services, eMail, JAVA, etc. § Setup and configuration of test equipment (GSM / WCDMA network simulators, and protocol analyzers) § Utilize Test equipment to execute network simulated tests (RACAL, Anite/SAS, Agilent, Anritsu) § Perform initial analysis of problems found and report faults using fault tracking tools like ClearQuest § Writing test reports § Verification of bug fixes § May work with customer support groups to duplicate and debug field issues § Execute Operator Acceptance tests § Experience writing test specifications, test procedures § Ability to interpret GSM/UMTS protocol message traces and use them to diagnose problems __________________________________________________________________________________________________ *Position 2: Business Analyst Location: Hartford, CT (locals only, non locals need not apply unless relocation will be candidate's expense) Duration: 6 months **Must be Green card holders or US Citizens * Required: - Adaptability, strong requirements elicitation and facilitation skills, business and functional requirements. - High energy, positive attitude, some wireframe experience, use cases and some process mapping. - Must be able to work with all levels of the Direct organization. - Experience in data mart info being passed downstream and product knowledge are pluses. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ *Position 3: Cold Fusion Application Developer Location: Minneapolis, MN (locals only, non locals need not apply unless relocation will be candidate's expense) Duration: 6 months **Must be Green card holders or US Citizens * Required: ColdFusion (CF7, but client will be moving to CF9) - Understanding of the standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Understanding of software development team roles and responsibilities: Project Managers, Business Analysts, QA Analysts, Tech Leads, Developers. - Effective task/time management. - Coding standards and other development best practices and methodologies.
