ASP.NET, C# developer 

Salem, OR

6 - 12 months Contract

Rate: DOE

 

Required skills and abilities: 

.         Contractor shall provide services of a Programmer-Analyst II as
described in this Statement of Work (SOW).  The SOW includes a description
of the Projects to which Contractor will provide services and the specific
deliverables required.

.         Contractor shall perform the tasks, produce the deliverables, and
meet the requirements of this WOC in accordance with the SOW, Delivery
Schedule, and Agency standards.    

.         The purpose of this WOC is to provide the specified services and
deliverables for each project.

.         The Contractor shall provide development services requiring the
use of Microsoft ASP.Net and C#.  In addition, the Contractor shall provide
Microsoft Team Foundation Suite oversight for the TOCS project team during
its development lifecycle, which includes coordination of code merges and
tracking the components checked-out. 

 

Release Coordinator Duties:

.         Develop application, server and data components per Agency
development standards.  Services to be performed by Contractor will include
a unique task ID which the Contractor shall report progress on in the Weekly
Status Report in the form of a P+ Deliverable (M050S).

.         Log and escalate development and testing issues with the Agency
project team and compile results in the form of   P+ Deliverable (M046S).

.         Perform unit, functional and system testing as called out by the
TOCS Test Strategy and documented test cases.  Provide input to revise test
cases as needed.

.         Coordinate Microsoft Team Foundation Suite (TFS) code branch
merges with ODOT and external development teams as needed.  Set TFS
branching permissions to restrict access only to components needed for the
respective branch.

.         Research and resolve technical or design issues; provide
recommendations to Agency Application Architect and System Architect.

.         Identify the merge dependencies across branches; coordinate with
Agency development team(s) when change requests impact checked-out TFS
project components.

.         Update N-Hibernate data mapping as needed.

.         Create TFS application compiled component builds for

.         Unit Testing

.         Functional Testing

.         Update test data necessary for each build.

.         Submit database change requests to data analyst and database
administrator as needed.

.         Meet twice-weekly (approximately for 1 hour each meeting) with
Agency Application Architect and System Architect to address the status of
project tasks and issues

.         Meet daily (approximately 1 hour per day) with project team
members to resolve design issues and provide input to development questions
posed by Agency Application Architect and System Architect.
