There are 3 openings. EAD/GC/USC only.
Locals are preferred because of an in person interview.
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 6+ months .The duration could either go longer or turn into a
contract to hire position.
Start Date: ASAP
The responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
-Develop design specifications
-Research and prototype complex design solutions -Perform code and design
reviews with junior developers -Develop design patterns and standards, guide
and mentor junior staff on the best practices and patterns -Work with
business on defining requirements and features for the products
*Desired Experience*
The successful candidate will have at least 7 years of commercial software
development experience, along with the following:
-Demonstrated solid application development skills utilizing C#, ASP. NET ,
VB. NET , HTML, Javascript -Database experience with TSQL (SQL Server)
-Knowledge of basic network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, etc,) and
technology -Expert knowledge of application and web security -Experience
with high availability high-volume Web applications -Solid background in OO
design and programming, knowledge of UML and modern software engineering
practices -Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle and formal
development processes (creating specifications, technology pilots, analyzing
application performance etc) -Strong interpersonal and written skills and
organization -Ability to interact with technical work group and business
partners in a positive and productive way in order to accomplish project
goals -Keen interest in creating cost-effective yet durable and elegant
design solutions in a timely fashion and ability to continuously enhance
efficiency of a development process -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
or related field
