Please send resumes to *[email protected]* *Position 1: Unix Linux Database Messaging Engineer* *Location: Boca Raton, FL (locals only please)* *Duration: 6 months * · Candidate must have *Messaging Administration* experience on *UNIX/Linux platform *supporting Messaging Technologies (*LDAP, SMTP, POP, IMAP, Content Filtering). * · Must have experience with *UNIX Shell Scripting*, knowledge of *security network protocols,* and experience supporting *Open Source messaging* and/or *GroupWare solutions (Zimbra)*. · Must also have familiarity with *Networking Technologies* (*TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP, SSH, SMTP, LDAP*), *advanced knowledge of x86 server hardware*and *RAID configurations*, and knowledge of *Storage Technologies (NFS, SAN, NAS, FC, ISCSI). * · Will be responsible for defining, testing, deploying, and supporting messaging tier hardware infrastructure. · Will perform development and testing of IT solutions, participate with business units in the analysis of business-process/information flow, and provide leadership/mentoring on technical activities. · Will participate in *production support and on-call rotation*. · Will *review *and *evaluate current messaging systems and makes recommendations for solutions, performance tuning, and other ways to optimize messaging applications. * · Will conduct performance tuning and analyzes messaging system capacity issues. · Will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to messaging system in a timely manner.
