We have a requirement for Senior Java Software Engineer with a* client* and
this is with integral part of engineering team, helping to lead the
development of innovative software products. The successful candidate must
be experienced with multi-tier application design patterns, and development
of server-side web application software for functionality across multiple
browser platforms.
*Note:** Client is looking for only locals!*
Title: Java/J2ee Engineer
Location: Bellevue, WA
Duration: 6+ months
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Analyze, design, develop, implement and test B2B information
systems, using Java, Spring.
· Take ownership of major features and components of our system
· Participate in design and implementation of next generation
systems based on our technology
· Design and implement major features and components from
requirements, write functional and technical specifications
REQUIRED SKILL SET
· 5-7 years experience developing commercial software in a
structured setting.
· 3+ years in commercial hands-on Java software development;
preferably through several complete development cycles from specifications
to software delivery.
· 1-2 years with Javascript & jQuery, HTML & CSS
· Experience with one of MS SQL Server, Oracle, Postgresql or
DB/2 is a must
· Experience designing & developing and deploying web based
products
· Startup experience bootstrapping new products
· 2+ years of experience in Hibernate or equivalent ORM
framework.
· Must understand the MVC framework for building Web applications
· Experience with Agile development practices would be a nice to
have
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
