The BUSINESS ANALYST will be used to provide analysis skills to support
several projects. Some examples are below:
· Hardware and software architecture
- Database analysis, conversion, consolidation requirements
- Data extraction, cleansing and formatting requirements
- Report, form and interface specifications
- Documentation of requirements for new systems and application,
including requirements for Request for Proposal (RFP) instruments
- Documenting business and technical needs, including workflow process
- Collecting and compiling project management details and supporting
information

Candidates must demonstrate strong technical expertise across multiple
domains (i.e. application delivery systems, business processes, database
architecture, distributed infrastructure, information security, and / or
project management). The candidate will interface with a diverse range of
colleagues from technology, business and project management domains. As
such, candidates must also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and
leadership skills.

*REQUIREMENTS*

*BA Experience*
Minimum of three (3) years of Business Analyst experience (one (1) year must
be recent)
*Specific work experience (projects, types of work performed)*
· The successful candidate will have experience in system
development and/or managing information system vendor relationships, with a
proven history of successful project implementation experience.
· Several years experience and demonstrated expertise in data
warehousing, complex data manipulation, analysis and reporting of large
databases.
· Demonstrated expertise in working with teams and providing expert
technical advice such as the use of Business Intelligence and data
warehousing tools and ETL processes.
· Highly developed project management skills, in the planning,
co-ordination and completion of multiple simultaneous tasks within a
specified timeframe and with a high degree of accuracy.
· Candidates must demonstrate strong technical expertise across
multiple domains (i.e. application delivery systems, business processes,
database architecture, distributed infrastructure, information security, and
/ or project management). The candidate will interface with a diverse range
of colleagues from technology, business and project management domains. As
such, candidates must also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and

· They must be able to provide architecture analysis and
recommendations for upgrading hardware and software.
· Provide the capability to produce both standard and ad hoc reports
(many of the reports are executive level, aggregate, summary type reports).
Plus establish a standard user interface for diverse group of individuals,
with respect to technology skills, for both data entry and reporting
· Candidates must demonstrate the ability to collect, compile and
create detailed documentation describing application or system
requirements.
· Experience writing Request for Proposals (RFPs)
*Educational requirements*
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
*Technical skills needed*
· Understands basic Internet and client/server architectures.
· Possesses working knowledge of HTML, SQL, and database design.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Access.
· Knowledge of Hardware Industry Standards.
· Well developed analytical, statistical and numerical skills.
· Recognized computer skills in data management and data
manipulation.
· Knowledge of computer applications to prepare written reports,
spreadsheets, tables, flowcharts, and visual presentations that incorporate
quantitative and qualitative analysis.

- Understands technical design specifications.
- Defines test conditions.
- Develops accurate and complete test plans.
- Conducts testing according to plan.
- Identifies and documents system deficiencies and recommends solutions.
