Direct Client req Project Manager data warehouse Location: Austin, TX Duration: 9+ months Rate: DOE Required Skills . 8 years Experience on data warehouse/business intelligence projects, including end-to-end experience on 2 or more enterprise data warehouse projects, preferably with at least one that included a substantial operational data store. . A least 2 to 3 of these years must be associated with an enterprise level data warehouse/business intelligence project. . 5 years Data Warehousing data population and data modeling techniques for target structures such as Star Schemas, Snowflake Schemas, and highly normalized data models . 5 years GUI based ETL tools such as Informatica, IBM WebSphere DataStage, or similar tools. . 5 years Implementation experience with enterprise class databases e.g. Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, etc or similar technologies. . 5 years Implementation experience with analytical and reporting tools e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, MicroStrategy or similar tools. . 5 years Experience with data warehouse implementation process, from business requirements through logical modeling, physical database design, data sourcing and data transformation, data loading, Structured Query Language (SQL), end-user tools, database and SQL performance tuning. . 5 years Experience managing a technical team, including task assignments, team communications, and accountability for quality deliverables. . Strong Excellent skills in preparing technical documentation, including systems requirements and technical specifications. . Strong Excellent skills in requirements analysis, data assessment, business process reengineering, and familiarity with data warehousing design concepts such as third normal form and dimensional modeling. . Strong Ability to develop complex logical data models, data architecture standards, & support compliance to policies and procedures including data structures & data elements naming standards. . Strong Excellent analytical, problem-solving, team playing, and oral / written communication skills. . Strong Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups, and manage multiple responsibilities.
