Job Title: Developer III - Warehouse Reporting
Job Duration: 3 to 6 Months
Location: Wilmington, DE
Essential Functions:
* Design and implement business intelligence and reporting solutions to meet
the information and reporting needs of management and business departments,
including Finance, Marketing, Credit, Asset Liability Management, Treasury,
Sales and Operations
* Support development of a common portal to provide one-stop secured and
reliable access to information in the corporate data warehouse and source
systems as required
* Support development of management dashboards and key performance
indicators for decision support and exceptions management
* Work closely with business leaders, data modelers and data warehouse
developers to ensure consistent and accurate reporting across the business
* Support change management controls and validation process to ensure
consistent and accurate information and reports delivered to the customers
* Support development of a common web-based Reporting portal to provide
one-stop secured and reliable access to information in the corporate data
warehouse
* Create and maintain documentation of operating procedures, application
designs and user guides.
* Support standard and customized reporting training and support to empower
the customers in using the information and reporting tools
* Provide continuous ad-hoc customer support in information and reporting
services.
* Assist with mentoring and coaching team members
* Other assignments as required
Experience & Qualifications:

* Demonstrated skills and experiences in leveraging B.I. / OLAP technology
to design and build cost- effective solutions to meet the business needs in
information and reporting
* At least five years of experience in B.I. /OLAP development
Education and/or Certifications:
* B.Sc. / Engineering degree in computer science or MIS related discipline
is required, or equivalent development experiences
Technical skills and abilities:
* Proven working experiences in Cognos B.I. Applications (ReportNet,
Powerplay cubes, Visualizer, Transformer etc.) and/or other B.I./OLAP
reporting tools
* In-depth knowledge and experiences in data analysis, data warehouses
and/or data marts
* Knowledge and experiences in relational and dimensional databases
implemented in Oracle and/or MS SQL Server environments
* Proven skills and knowledge in SQL programming
* Knowledge of Visual Basic and SAS programming is preferred
