*Please respond to **[email protected] * Title: QA Tester Location: Swedesboro, NJ Duration: 12 months *Job Description:* The primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance Engineer will be to support software testing efforts of our front end and back end systems and interfaces. The associate will provide hands-on leadership to architect, design, develop and deliver test automation and software QA for core frameworks and next generation end user applications for our WMS platform. This person will prepare and review test plans, test designs, and test cases as well as work closely with developers, professional services and project managers to expand the test automation framework. *Technical Requirements:* 1. Work closely with software developers to define test requirements and describe and isolate software defects. 2. Develop test tools, test harnesses and test cases; execute test cases, analyze results and report defects as appropriate. 3. Research new tools and techniques in response to new testing requirements. *Experience/Educational Requirements:* 1. Candidate must have experience in Retail/Warehouse Management systems. 2. Oracle experience is a must have. The candidate should have a solid understanding of relational database concepts and principles, ability to query multiple tables with simple joins and knowledge of SQL aggregates and functions. 3. 4 years of Quality Assurance/SQA experience including unit, functional, performance and load testing. 4. 2+ years of programming experience with .Net, ASP, VBScript and JavaScript is a plus. 5. 2 + years experience with Mercury QuickTest Professional is a plus. 6. The associate will need to be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. 7. Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership skills. 8. BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience preferred.
