Minimum (ten) 10 years experience supporting firewall implementation . Minimum (five) 5 years of advanced experience (specifically operationally supporting Cisco ASA firewalls) . Proficient design, implementation and operational support of Cisco ASA firewalls in an enterprise and data center environment . Moderate familiarity with all network technologies and equipment, particularly data center LAN/VLAN environments . Experience with structured change management processes . Ability to manage tasks and meet schedules . Must have good organizational and English communication skills both written and oral . Must have excellent customer service and teamwork skills Experience supporting: . Cisco MARS, ACS and CSM . Avaya (Nortel) LAN switching and WLAN products . Citrix Netscaler VPN . Exchange Email and Calendar with Outlook client PREFERRED: . Currently active CCSP (Cisco Certified Security Professional) certification, or expiration within past 1 year . Currently active CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert) Security certification, or expiration within past 5 years . Experience with PCI compliance . ITIL familiarity . VMware ESX/ESXi familiarity . Experience in a DOT or Government environment Other Requirements: . The candidate MUST: . Possess the physical ability and be willing to lift and move equipment weighing at least 50 (fifty) pounds . Willingness to work overtime as needed and to accommodate occasional regional travel . Provide personal transportation .
