SAP MM Consultant with ECC 6.0, SRM, public sector, BPP, OSS, ABAB and
financial management experience
Location: COLUMBIA, SC
Duration: 4 months (extendable)

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
Working under the direction of the staff in the Division of State
Information Technology (DSIT), candidates will provide technical and
professional services related to the configuration of the SAP ECC 6.0
for new statewide business processes, Unit and Integration Testing,
Business Process Procedure development, and the identification of
effective knowledge transfer to support the SCEIS Project. The SCEIS
Team is implementing SAP for state government business processes
related to finance, budgeting, grants management, materials
management, human resources and payroll. The Functional Consultant
should have knowledge of SAP MM modules and general knowledge of SRM
and public sector experience.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with SRM and ECC functions as required.
• Assist in analyzing business processes.
• Perform SAP configuration in ECC and SRM and complete unit testing.
• Develop Business Process Procedures (BPP’s), complete functional
specifications, transport request and other required detailed
documentation.
• Assist in conducting Integration Testing.
• Resolve SAP defects via SAP OSS (Online Support System) and system
errors via a working knowledge of the integration with other SAP
modules.
• Diagnose, isolate, and de-bug software problems and perform
problem.
• Escalate issues to Project Management in a timely manner.
• Aid in the development of the training curriculum and courses.
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
• 2-4 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN SAP WITH STRONG WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF SAP MM
MODULES FOR PUBLIC SECTOR
• ABILITY TO PERFORM WORK THAT IS COMPLEX AND VARIED IN NATURE
• EXCELLENT ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS
• ABILITY TO MANAGE WORK EFFICIENTLY
• ABILITY TO MAKE PRESENTATION AND PREPARE REPORTS
• GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF SRM
PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
• KNOWLEDGE OF SAP TECHNICAL SKILLS A PLUS
• KNOWLEDGE IN FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SKILL A PLUS
