*Job Description and Requirements: *
*Need an experienced Oracle OPM Functional consultant who has already
completed at least one upgrade to R12 from an established 11i (11i10)
implementation of OPM. *
*Areas of concentration are converting OPM Financials and Costing to the
Release 12 Sub Ledger Accounting (MAC to SLA).* We seek an individual with
expertise in the business processes and complexities involved in these areas
of focus. The desired work experience includes converting the existing OPM
organizational structures that deliver the functionality similar to the
existing configuration as well as creating similar functionality using SLA
compared to the existing OPM MAC.
The candidate will:
· Deliver a “Lead workshops with the Company’s Process Leaders to
achieve “like for like” functionality in the OPM Financial/Costing modules.
· Document redesign of OPM Financial/Costing basis solution
including but not limited to converting and balancing between 11i and R12;
business process changes related to all aspects of inventory Sub Ledger
Accounting (SLA) related to transactions generated in Oracle
Pluses-
· Any additional knowledge and experience related to overall Oracle
Process Manufacturing 11i10 to R12 upgrade.
· Technical knowledge of OPM Batch management and Oracle API’s,
query tables, etc.
Requirements
· Extensive experience in upgrading Oracle Process Manufacturing
from 11i to R12.
· Experience with OPM Inventory, Oracle Inventory, OPM MAC and Sub
Ledger Accounting (SLA) and can design and provide direction on a “like for
like” functionality
· Facilitate Oracle Service Request (SR’s) resolution with Oracle
Support and OPM Support.
· This is an English language implementation (French and/or Spanish
experience is a plus)
· Able to work through multiple internal organizational challenges
and cultural challenges
· This upgrade will require dialog between 15 locations in a variety
of locales in the U.S, Canada, and Europe. Canada, US, and Europe and across
multiple time zones.
· Provide input to training resources regarding process changes and
can also perform training as needed to highly competent business owners
quickly and efficiently.
· Provide input to test script writing resources for same process
changes.
· Advise on go-live planning as per experience with other upgrades
of similar size across multiple locations, time zones, etc.
