This is a hot one… Client is in St. Paul, MN. These will be 6 month
contracts. *Must be local, face to face interview*. Rate: $65-70/hr.
Looking for 8-10+ years of experience.
*Required Technical Skills:*
5+ years Java/JEE development in complex, enterprise system
environment.
Expert understanding of JEE development patterns and practices.
Extensive experience with Spring and Hibernate.
Solid understanding of JEE-based web service development patterns and
practice.
*NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:*
Solid understanding of security technologies and concepts (SSL, Digital
Certificates, LDAP, SSO) is a PLUS
Solid web infrastructure/architecture knowledge (reverse proxy, fail-over,
session state persistence, load-balancing) is a PLUS
*Job Responsibilities:*
Ability to work with our Client Engagement Managers to clarify and
prune requirements.
Proven ability to take leadership role in projects that may span
multiple teams.
Propose and execute on mini-research/prototype projects that introduce
an innovative solution to new or existing problem.
Ability to deliver on time working in a fast paced agile environment.
Contribute ideas for continually improving the team's productivity,
job enjoyment, and code quality.
Work closely with Product Management to define new application
framework features insuring a high performing and ultra-usable user
experience.
Keep on top of task and bug management system for assigned issues as
well as estimating
Collaborate with peers on technical design, work estimation and
implementation of new features.
Ability to communicate designs effectively.
