*Position Overview:*
Responsible for serving as a key conduit of functional/business and
technical knowledge into the Service Provider teams;
troubleshooting/triaging work tickets, determining required fix or change,
implementing and testing changes, updating required documentation and
systems (e.g. changes control, Service Center, QC, ClearQuest/ClearCase,
Knowledgebases, etc), and assisting with estimating potential benefits and
technical impacts of work requests, assisting with estimating work requests
and working with Team Lead to prioritize work requests.

The IA/Functional Consultant team is responsible for :
· Investigation of defects
· Creation and follow-up of Service Requests with Oracle
· Patch analysis and testing of patches
· Analysis of defects requiring RICE work and enhancements
· Creation of Functional Design
· Testing (including identification of test conditions and execution of
tests
The IA is involved in maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of
complex modules and those that interface with other applications.
The IA will have a range of skills and knowledge of Oracle eBS (highly
experienced in the eAM module). This includes general knowledge about
flexfields, profile options, concurrent requests and responsibilities, as
well as detailed knowledge regarding configurations and transactions for
specific modules. The IA should also have experience with SQL Plus and the
ability to create basic scripts in TOAD.

The IA team acts as a service provider to development team in that they
provide the functional design in regards to Oracle eBS. One of their main
responsibilities is to identify issues that require resolution from Oracle
support, to open Service Requests, and follow up on these service requests
in a timely manner. This includes identifying service requests that require
escalation, and escalating them when necessary.
