Punjagutta ) Job Description POSITION: TECHNICAL RECRUITER - 5/6 Positions open for immediate hire. COMPANY Headquartered in North America (Pittsburgh, PA), COGENT is Western Pennsylvania's leading Systems Integration & IT Consulting firm delivering business and IT solutions. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS . Bachelors Degree (preferably in Information Technology) or related work experience. . Two (2) to Five (5) plus years experience in Technical Recruitment. . Experience in service-oriented recruitment, especially within the IT industry preferred. Ability to connect with high profiled candidates, head hunt/source appropriate talent in timely manner. . Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize is critical to the success of this position. . High energy, self motivated and outgoing personality. . PC proficiency and experience with Office Automation/Contact Mgmt. etc. tools is essential. A high level of Internet expertise is required. . Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment. . Strong customer service ethic is critical, as is a professional demeanor. . Attention to detail and strong analytical skills, in addition to a passion for client servicing. . Demonstrated ability to achieve monthly/quarterly/annual recruiting targets and a "can do" attitude. RESPONSIBILITIES . Understanding and analyzing Technical requirement for sourcing appropriate candidates. Generating candidate leads, cold calling prospective candidates and establishing innovative strategies to hire and maintain technical resources. . Developing new talent pool for proactive hiring in order to service existing accounts while increasing account/client knowledge and updating strategies for recruiting best talents. . Technically Screen candidates to ensure suitability for the position/requirement. . Providing best resource support to internal sales/account managers. . Complete entire recruiting process, right from identifying/sourcing to delivering selected resource. . Working in a team environment and providing regular status updates.
