Location: Woodlawn, MD
Duration: 6+ months
Rate: DOE
Skills Requirements:
· 9+ years IT Software development experience in .NET and .ASP
· Demonstrated proficiency in .NET development, C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET
· Demonstrated proficiency in _vbscript_, _javascript_, AJAX, and SQL
· ASP.NET Concepts, Control Proficiency, Page life Cycle, HTTP Handler, HTTP Handler Factory and Http Module Proficiency
· Demonstrated proficiency in ADO.NET
· Experience in Visual Studio 2005 and 2008 (Microsoft Office integration with Visual Studio)
· Experience developing Windows GUI desktop applications
· Extensive VBA experience developing and integrating Microsoft Office applications
· Experience in SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008, SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
· Experience with XML processing such as XSD, XPath, XSL, XSLT, etc.
· Experience in requirements evaluation (translating business requirements into design specifications)
· Experience with programming, program debugging, data analysis, problem analysis.
· Experience working with deployment scripts – server build, installs, etc.
· Experience with SQL, stored procedures and triggers
· Self managed with the ability to coach and mentor others
· Actively participates and leads design initiatives, design meetings, architectural review, and code review
· Experience re-factoring code, developing standards and mentoring mid and junior level developers
· Experience developing applications that are 508-compliant and accessible.
· Experience/exposure using such tools as Dragon, JAWS, and Magic
· Experience with MKS and scripting batch files
· Experience with SSRS is also required
Education and Certifications:
· Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- BS Degree (Technical), MSA desirable
