This is a large environment with 570s and 550s, over 50 TB of disk, and over 20 LPARs. This person must be the go to person for roll swaps and all replication questions asked by the business. Our application is custom so this candidate must have expertise with journaling. Must have 7 plus years with replication, prefer vision experience. Must have 10 years on the AS/400, iSeires, supporting OS/400. Must have a background as and SA and SE. May need to jump in for duties on the platform, not related to replication. Will be part of an on-call rotation, and be the lead for ROLL SWAPS, done at least twice per year. Must work well with seasoned iSeries engineers.
