Please send resumes to [email protected] Position: SW Test Engineer Location: San Diego, CA Duration: 12 months Description of Services: Engineer 2: 3 – 5 years Experience The candidate will be involved in Client’s wireless connectivity system integration and test which includes end to end protocol/functionality, performance/optimization testing and analysis with a particular emphasis on WLAN. In this role, the candidate will closely work with the system engineers, SW/HW engineers and other members of the system integration and testing group. Typical tasks comprise test case development, execution - under a diverse collection of operational scenarios, data analysis, results' interpretation and reporting, competitive analysis, issue debugging, enhancement and automation of test procedures as well as analysis tools - with an end goal of system level feature completeness, stability & optimization *Skills:* Familiarity with WLAN protocols 802.11b/g/n is required Background on networking such as TCP/IP is required Background on digital communications or DSP is required. Knowledge of OFDM/MIMO is a plus Familiarity with WWAN technologies such as LTE, UMTS, CDMA2000 is preferred. Familiarity with other communications standards e.g. Bluetooth, FM, NFC is a plus Familiarity with standard lab equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies is a plus Candidate should have good verbal/ written communication skills. Should have good problem solving/ debugging skills.
