Initial contract is for 6 months and may extend or convert to become a permanent direct hire employee. Must be a highly motivated self-starter; able to use your own initiative, drive decisions and create direction. Must have experience using embedded C on Linux to develop BSP (Board Support Packages) for hardware that initiates drivers, DAPI (Data structures and Algorithm Programing Interface), and the Application. Duties include the porting of existing application platforms onto new target hardware, and adapting new application developments to similar hardware as well as; BSP Development, boot code, and hardware bring-up code, integration and support of OS (Linux/VxWorks) platform and tool chains on to custom embedded hardware. Strong preference for experience in driver development for networking hardware Integration and support of OS (Linux/VxWorks) platforms. There is a pipeline of BSP projects to keep you challenged.
