*Title: QA Engineer with Hyperion* *Location: Foster City, CA*
*Length: 6 Months+ * * * *Key responsibilities:* * * *• The Staff QA Engineer will partner with the application Support, Development, and Release Management for the Oracle EPM Suite at Visa to ensure appropriate levels of quality assurance meet the corporate standards. The Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System (EPM) includes a suite of performance management applications; a suite of business intelligence (BI) applications; a common foundation of BI tools and services; and a variety of datasources – all integrated using Oracle Fusion Middleware* *• QA will be performed against global initiatives, enhancements, and day to day operational Production defects. Tasks may include, but are not inclusive of Test Plans, Test Case Creation, Test Data Creation, Manual Testing, Issue Management Resolution and Documentation.* *• Successful project delivery of QA test script development and execution within Hyperion using Visa’s internal Testing Management Methodologies.* *• Promote a standardization of QA processes and a discipline of QA testing throughout the team using Visa’s TMM, assist to develop, execute, and standardize test plans.* *• Ability to comprehend complex Business requirements and Technical solutions, mapping into Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scripts.* *• Manage defects from identification to completion. * *• Assist to standardize reporting and metrics on deliverables by the QA team.* *• Assist Quality Assurance Manager on the implementation of Defect Management, Automation and Performance Methodologies.* *• Partnering with staff deployed globally, including direct staff, vendors, and offshore partners.* * * *Qualifications* * * *• 6+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, implementing and applying industry best practices to design detailed test scripts and execution against those scripts.* *• 4+ years of experience in the Oracle Hyperion EPM Suite. Planning experience is required in Classic application administration and EPMA; Essbase; HFM; Calculation Manager; and Financial Reporting Studio are preferred. * *• QA Analysts must be proficient in Financial Data Quality Manger (FDM) and Data Relationship Management (DRM).* *• QA Analysts should be proficient with testing tools such as HP Quality Center and/or Load Runner.* *• Experience taking complex business requirements and build a test suite to validate against system design.* *• Working knowledge and experience in Test Execution including manual end-to-end regression testing and evaluation of test results.* *• Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate defects to management. * *• A demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and sustain a high level of performance when scrutinized.* *• The ability to self-govern, to be flexible, to prioritize and manage their own time to meet sometimes tight program deadliness.* *• Strong internal customer relationships are essential and this position will work with Business Partners, internal staff, external vendors and system integrators on a daily basis to ensure quality assurance is performed in alignment with global initiatives and requirements across the enterprise* *• Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle* *• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or job related discipline is preferred.
