The Sr Web Developer will work on daily release activities to perform site
enhancements for the various eComm applications (MRock, DRock, URock).
Senior Web Developer The Telecommunication Mobility Consumer eCommerce Team
is responsible for Telecommunication’s online presence for selling products
and services. This industry leading telecom site has previously ranked in
the top five retail web sites visited on both Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
We support millions of UVs every month and enable a crucial channel for
Telecommunication. We are seeking a Senior Web Developer for the B2C buy
flow development team. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving
our \site as we continue to innovate and drive more sales through our
channel.
*Responsibilities:*
• Development of code using JSP, CSS, JavaScript and relevant coding
standards. • Lead on discrete development projects and should take complete
ownership of technical solution. • Develop accurate level of effort
estimates, and manage task schedules. • Application design, resolving
production issues if they arise. • Excellent communication skills that can
be used to effectively communicate technical concepts to business teams. •
Understand consumer customer requirements with respect to its impact to the
success of the business goal and be able to translate them to a technical
implementation. • Suggest innovative solutions to business
problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing
differentiation, performance improvements, and better user experiences. •
Provide direction and mentoring to junior developers. • Interact well with
other technical team leaders such as architects, testing, analysts, and
release managers as a lead member of the development team in order to
accomplish the business goal.
*Required Skills: *
• 5 + years of front end UI software development experience • 3 + years of
strong experience in JSP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, DHTML, XML, XSLT and
basic UI - Technologies • Coding for accessibility • Knowledge of the ATG
Dynamo platform and its use of beans, servlets, droplets and formHandlers. •
Strong understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies • Strong
analytical, problem solving, technical troubleshooting, and production
diagnostic skills.
*Additional skills:*
• Object oriented design experience • eCommerce application development
experience • Experience with B2C projects/applications • Industry experience
in Telecom/Wireless.
