The Project Coordinator will provide Project Management services under
supervision in areas of assignment for one or more projects following WVOT
project management methodology, which is based on, Project Management
Institute, Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) methodology to
deliver projects on time, within budget, adhere to quality standards and
meet customer expectations.
*PROJECT RESPONSIBILITY*

Responsibility is held for overall project coordination, status reporting,
issue resolution and achievement of project objectives. Specific
responsibilities include:
· Assist the customer with conducting feasibility, risk assessment,
regulatory compliance assessments, etc.
· Conduct research to help the customers determine project
objectives, requirements, key
performance indicators, etc
· Contribution to the compilation of a project plan and assistance
with plan maintenance as directed by the
project manager
· Work with subject matter experts, functional leads and technical
leads to* *create and manage the
project work breakdown structure (WBS) and
tasks
· Scheduling and coordinating project meetings on an as needed
basis
· Compile a written status report for projects and providing to the
Project Manager for review and
distribution.
· Work with subject matter experts, functional leads and technical
leads to compile and maintain the task and
schedule, and resource plan.
· Work with the project team with quality assurance, as well as
accreditation and certification, processes for project duration
· Assist in with maintaining the issue management plan, risk
management plan and change management plan
· Maintain the project communication plan and assisting with Project
Manager to ensure customer
communication is occurring
· Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams and
support teams
· Document clearly and accurately, meeting minutes, status reports,
as needed, project requirements and
information
· Assist Project Manager with collecting and compiling daily status
updates from other project team members on
assigned tasks
· Assist the Project Manager to addressing issues and change
requests according to the project
management methodology
· Serve as Co-Project Functional or Technical Coordinator as needed
· Assist or manage training program and team building exercises to
promote effective project management, and contributes to training
materials and presentations
· Serve as Co-Project Functional or Technical Coordinator as needed
· Work may need to be performed outside of normal 9-5 business hours

The contractor must be able to provide quality work according to the project
schedule, as formally agreed upon by the contractor, WVOT, and the WVOT’s
customers. Failure, by the contractor, to meet benchmarks or other
performance indices may result in immediate dismissal. The vendor may be
held accountable for replacing any dismissed consultant/contractor and made
responsible for completing the contract as agreed to initially.

*Educational / Experience Requirements:*

Five years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in providing
direct customer support, computer applications support, automated business
process support, project coordination and / or application operations may be
substituted for the required training or education.
· Minimum of five (5) years professional experience in customer
service related to the delivery of technical services and products* *
· Minimum of five (5) years professional experience in business
processes and procedures, preferably involving the automation of these
· Minimum of twelve (12) months experience in project coordination

· Assist the project team to compile project information
· Compile information from project team to assimilates reports and
other logs for items such as project budgets and fiscal controls, contracts
and quality control provisions
· Prepare project specifications, request for proposals and
coordinates project related procurement for review by Project Manager
· Create project communication plan using information supplied by
the project team
· Serve as point of contact for project communication
· Maintain risk and issue logs with information supplied by Project
Team
· Conduct project quality assurance assessments for project
deliverables and work processes, when needed
· Compile information gathered through workshops and surveys,
business process descriptions and task analysis and clearly documents the
information
· Document system deficiencies and recommends solutions
