*Specific Role & Responsibilities:*
Maintain a large distributed build environment of C/C++ source
files under ClearCase
Understand already exiting makefile and build scripts.
Troubleshoot build problems
Develop/maintain make scripts to run C/C++ builds.
Maintain ClearCase with UCM usage development environment and
assist developers in the resolution of issues related to ClearCase/UCM,
build problems
Work with teams distributed across the globe
*Required Job Skills:*
Outstanding skill in debugging and troubleshooting build problems
- Ability to learn new technologies and understand and quickly learn the
new applications and technologies.
- Ability to lean and understand new in-house developed usage model of
ClearCase and UCM
Very strong experience with ClearCase with UCM usage model,
ClearCase multisite
Very Good experience with Solaris/Linux
Very strong knowledge of makefile structure especially written in
make and Cmake
Strong knowledge of Perl, CSH shell, bash, ksh scripting
Software Process: General knowledge and experience with software
life cycle process.
