The position is located in Seattle, WA and the contract is 6+ months with high chance for extension. Please send me any candidate profiles you have with contact information. Consultant must be able to work full-time, onsite in Seattle. *Job Description:* This individual is responsible for creating test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for testing of commercial location-based telecommunication systems. Will be a member of a six-person test team and will work closely with functional analysts and development staff throughout the lifecycle of software development releases. *Major Duties and Responsibilities*: Ø Active participation in review of software life cycle deliverables, including functional specification and design documentation. Ø Generate Test Strategy and Test Plan documentation. Ø Execute test cases for telephony call flows, provision test data, verify results against Transaction Detail Records and log files. Ø Unix shell scripting for automating test case execution and results verification. Ø Follow corporate policies and procedures. Ø Other functions as required. *Knowledge & Skills:* Ø Telephony network applications such as MSC, SUPL, GMLC, PDM, and LPS in GSM and WCDMA networks. cellular systems engineering, wireless positioning technologies. Ø Protocols such as OMA SUPL, ULP, RRLP, MLP, RLP, PCP, PAP, HTTP, Qualcomm V1, E5, IS-801. Ø Telecom test equipment: Tekelec (MGTS) or Inet (Turbo7/Spectra). Ø GPS positioning technologies, JPL RINEX, WARN data feeds Ø SQL database provisioning and data validation. Ø UNIX system experience – Sun Solaris Ø Data networking Ø Unix Shell Scripting Ø Quality orientation with a strong eye for detail. Ø Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
