*REQUIRED SKILLS:*
· Must have minimum 5 - 8 year experience in Performance Testing
using HP Load Runner/ HP Performance Center.
· Demonstrated experience in working with system stakeholders for
performing requirements analysis, translating complex program requirements
into testable objectives.
· Good experience in performance testing especially complex high
performance Commerce based web applications.
· Should have worked on multiple protocols (Siebel web, HTTP/HTML,
ODBC and Web services)
· Ability to review & develop quantitative performance test
requirements.
· In depth knowledge and experience in Performance Testing
Methodologies and Best Practices.
· Ability to plan and manage Performance Testing, prepare
Performance test plans & test reports.
· Experience in performance test estimation and process.
· Ability to design, develop and execute Performance Test Scripts
and Scenarios and Monitor various web/app/db servers.
· Ability to set-up Performance Test Environments.
· Ability to setup performance monitors and adding performance
counters using monitoring tools like HP Site scope, Perfmon etc for
performance metrics collection during performance test executions.
· Ability to analyze and identify performance bottlenecks and make
recommendations (Profiling & Diagnostics, CPU/Memory/IO utilization and so
on).
· Knowledge in monitoring tools such as Site scope, Diagnostics,
BAC etc.
· Strong leadership skills to work with multiple levels across the
organization.
· Demonstrated experience leading QA engineers and mentoring less
experienced staff.
· Minimum 5 years' experience analyzing functional and technical
requirements and mapping documents and transforming them into a
comprehensive Test Plan.
· Minimum 5 years' experience with application development life
cycles (SDLC).
· Must have 5 years QA testing processes including requirements
analysis and traceability; test case development, test execution, and defect
management.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
*DESIRED SKILLS*
The following skills are considered a plus.
· Experience with Quality Center.
· Should have hands on programming skills in at least one of
technologies like C, C++, Java, .Net.
· Strong verbal, written, and graphical communication skills and
the ability to communicate effectively and independently with personnel and
clients at all levels.
· Ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.
· Ability to interact with internal management team and external
client contacts using strong leadership and communication skills.
· Ability to meet tight deadlines.
· Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving
environment.
