Required Skills
- 4-5 years of experience with Core Java
- Should have a solid understanding of Threading, IOExceptions, etc.
- Experience with SQL, Hibernate, ORM technologies
- Strong knowledge of working within Web Services, SOA, REST environments.
- Well versed in object oriented design, design patterns, exception
handling.
- Deep experience with XML, XSD, XSTL, and XML-to-Java binding using JiBX or
other technologies
- Performed functional testing and load testing of applications using JUnit,
JMeter, other testing frameworks and tools
-Have solid understanding of UML
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to
effectively communicate
-Travel up to 10% to Reno NV
Desired Skills:
- Development experience in Headless Development is plus
- Experience with J2EE, JSP, Grail and Tag libraries is a plus
- Knowledge of Swing Development is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop of Run/Killed applications that can pull data from
multiply sources such as: Database, Published API’s, Compress Images Files
and Zipfiles.
- Responsible for Java/JSE application development supporting business
objectives while providing expertise in software development lifecycle
phases from concept and design to testing.
- Analyzes, designs and builds component-based SOA applications for use
in a production environment.
- Design of modules should involve modeling techniques, component and
object-oriented design, complex algorithmic coding, and systematic
approaches to application integration.
- Works on new and existing SOA services and infrastructure. Performs
hands-on coding, mentors junior developers and assists in architecting
solutions.
- Serves as liaison to internal customers and various business support
areas.
- Plan and report project process, estimate time/resource requirements,
recommends alternate solutions and schedules.
