If 1 of the 2 had strong Universe skills we could live with that. Job requires frequent progress checks and communication, a backlog of BOBJ development has been prioritized. Job will also have a requirement to lend experience to a junior developer on site in Knoxville. Job Requirements : BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) Developer for BusinessObjects XI 3.1; Design and develop BusinessObjects universes, reports (Webi, Crystal), dashboards (Xcelsius 2008); Provide Solution Performance analysis/tuning; Work across business/technology teams to ensure alignment between business solution definition & systems architecture for the organization; Ability to work independently with a functional team to understand business analytics requirements and translate into solutions that provide optimal user experience. Implement security requirements and user administration, rights and user groups supporting various organizational views. Document reporting / analytical solutions and provide support during testing, end-user training and deployment. Desired Technical Profile: hands on experience with SAP Business Objects BI solutions, preferably with BusinessObjects XI 3.1. Experience must include development in Web Intelligence, Xcelsius (2008), and Universe Design – not solely leading the team of developers. Knowledge of data warehousing, database design and dimensional data modeling (Star & Snow Flake Schemas), Facts & Dimensions. Exerience in building reports against SAP BI 7.x, Netezza, and SQL data sources are preferred. Knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects BI Enterprise and CMC. Experience in designing, developing and implementing complex Business Objects solutions via full life cycle implementations. Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks coupled with strong analytical & problem resolution skills. Strong communication skills with ability to articulate solutions that are clearly understood by the business.
