Job Description:
- Analyze requirements and generate functional and technical
specifications.
- Develop technical solutions for identified requirements.
- Resolve production related issues.
- Escalate issues to team management and end users in a timely manner.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years experience in the IT industry with financial background or 8+
years in the IT industry if there is no financial background
- Minimum 4+ years of SQL programming
- Minimum 3+ years of Perl programming
- Unix
- Sybase knowledge
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of Fixed Income products and Equities is desirable
- Knowledge of Financial Regulation, Financial Accounting, General
Accounting or other back office finance areas is desirable
- Solaris
Java, Oracle, J2EE, Unix shell scripts is desirable
